I Dig Web Stuff

My name is Aaron, and I am a Web geek residing just outside Richmond, Virginia. I build Web sites professionally, and write about various Web technologies, methodologies, and tools. I also take on a number of freelance projects, so hit me up if you have one you need help on.

The unquenchable desire to work with Internet technologies started for me back in 1999 when I had to create a Web page for a class in school. Granted, it was absolutely awful by today's standards, but it was enough to give me that "this is the coolest thing in the world" moment.

Since then, I've been working non-stop to keep improving my skills and technique, learning all sorts of new technologies and trade secrets along the way. I pride myself on designing clean and simple interfaces, creating beautiful standards-based code, utilizing ExpressionEngine to make incredible dynamic Web sites, and using jQuery to add the necessary "wow" factor to those sites (I've even written a few plugins for the library).

I live for this stuff!

I'm one of those lucky people who actually loves what I do. I want to help you on any Web projects that you may have, whether you need someone to design a site, chop mockups into code, or even just point people in the right direction. I'm always looking to take on new work, so all you have to do is drop me a line. I look forward to hearing from you!
